I'm going on my fourth day post Skin Medica Vitalize Peel and I'm peeling. Not horribly, but my skin is dry and a little itchy. My post-peel regimen has included super hydrating products, including Rodial's Stem Cell Super-Food Cleanser.
I've been a big Rodial fan for years and this cleanser which also doubles as a hydrating mask has been a lifesaver, not only after the peel, but also for my chronically dehydrated skin. Like all of Rodial's products, the cleanser is super luxe. It's creamy and glides onto face easily, removing impurities while also leaving behind a barrier of moisture.
How it works: Use alone or with a cloth for gentle exfoliation that enables younger-looking skin to be revealed, giving laclustre skin a radiance boost.
What You Can Also Use it For: Makeup remover, weekly deep moisture peel (leave on skin for 15 minutes).
Ingredients: Without a noticeable scent, this cleanser is great for stressed out or sensitive skin. It heals and protects with:
- Marula Oil: Anti-oxidant with fatty acids soften and condition the skin.
- Coconut Oil: Helps to smooth the skin and rich in anti-oxidants and natural antibacterial agents.
- Cocoa Butter: Cleanses whilst nourishing the skin.
- Stem Cell (PhytoCellTec Alp Rose Flower): Protects against environmental stress and helps improve the skin barrier function.
After using the cleanser for the past few days, my skin is plumper, looks healthier and is wearing well after the peel. A must-have product, remember that a little goes a long way! Also, for days you hit the gym or feel like you need a deeper cleanse, I like to use this product after a harsher cleanser to keep my skin protected and feeling super soft.
